May 14, 201115 yr Guys, I have just purchased an Acer Aspire M3920 from IT City, it came with an Intel 2nd Generation i3-2100 processor and 2GB RAM, advertised as DDR3 1333. Now I asked for another 2GBs, which would give me the option of running 64bit. It has four slots and I didn’t see any point in just getting 1GB. I saw the RAM that they said they would fit and I have the box, it’s Kingston KVR1333D3N9/2G, the label also says 2GB PC3 – 10600 CL9 Pin DIMM I did a run and validation with Crucial and it gave me RAM : 4096 MB DDR3 Dual Channel RAM Speed : 665.3 MHz (1:5) @ 9-9-9-24 Slot 1 : 2048MB (10700) Slot 1 Manufacturer : Kingston Slot 2 : 2048MB (10700) Slot 2 Manufacturer : Samsung Now looking at Crucial's Web Site it shows the following DDR3 RAM is available DDR3 PC3-8500/DDR3-1066 DDR3 PC3-10600/DDR3-1333 DDR3 PC3-12800/DDR3-1600 DDR3 PC3-16000/DDR3-2000 DDR3 PC3-17000/DDR3-2133 DDR3 PC3-14900/DDR3-1866 So basically out of interest, as it running fine and it’s showing a memory Sub Score of 7.6, I just wondered where this RAM fits in the above list, preferably in ‘layman’s’ terms… I have had ‘ a Google’ and seen some comments about (10700) so others have also had a query…..thanks.
