i have a dlink dwm-156 dongle / aircard and it has been working flawlessly with the dlink dir412 wireless 3g router for a month or so. now as of yesterday it will not light up the world / globe / internet light...that just stays orange instead of turning green and i can't connect to the internet. my connection from my pc to the router is solid- the router just can not get internet. when i take the dongle out of the router and plug it straight into the pc's usb port it works fine.

one possible cause- i just changed cards from a Mojo 1000mb card to an unlimited TOT card, and over the phone TOT walked me thru a setup of the dongle's software- we created a new profile to make the card work.

ideas anyone?

This is incorrect. The APN settings for TOT 3G are:

APN: internet

Access Number: *99#

Username: <leave blank>

Password: <leave blank>

(Verifcation is done by the SIM, that is to say, if you have the SIM then you are assumed to be rightful user, and the telephone number associated with SIM is the account verfier.

My best guess is that you may not have removed the MoJo 3G configuration for the DIR-412, or have not correctly re-configured it for the new TOT 3G NetSIM (pg. 17 of the User's Guide).

i figured it out- i just hooked the router up to my pc with the lan cable and programmed the same settings that i used in that screen shot into the router. thanks for the replies- i appreciate it!!!!
