Pheu Thai Announces 20 First Party-List Candidates

PTP website has this one http://www.ptp.or.th/member/m-part.aspx which may be up-to-date

They should have asked me for photos of their candidates that are missing from their profile.

I had 1 - 20 inclusive posted on this thread earlier, but they were removed.

I want to add that the photos were maybe deleted because of copyright reason.

And links are removed when they are to websites in Thai language. It is somewhere in the rules.

Rather than mindless speculation, simply read the thread.

Posts #23 and #40 explain the reason.

That will also happen with similar post about other parties, so it isn't a censorship that want silence the PTP, as some red shirt troll maybe would argue.

I would think that Puea Thai would have no copyright problems for the photos of their party list members on their website.

For photos on their website or for photos taken from their website?

At the moment Puea Thai don't have a photo of everyone in the TOP 20 on their website.

Meanwhile

meanwhile, more groundless speculation follows.

After meanwhile came a compliment.

You are good as corbis and better as the PT website, when it comes to photos.

I didn't saw explanation in posts #23. And just read your comment that your photos were removed. Before someone argues that is unfair and thinks it is censorship I wanted point out that it has nothing to do with that it were pictures of the PTP, but could have been apolitical reasons like in Rule No 22.

Is there a link with the photos of all these 20 people? I think it would help me to identify some of the faces I see on Thai TV (as long it are not theses kind of Thai style photos were photoshop created an image of some ageless handsome with no resemblance to the real person)

EC Chairman to sue Pheu Thai candidate

Election Commission Chairman Suchart Sukhagganond on Friday said he will file a defamation suit against Pheu Thai's Prakiart Nasimma.

"Prakiart gave out a groundless and false story, tarnishing my reputation," he said.

Suchart said it was untrue that he had met with General Prem Tinsulanonda, the President of the Privy Council.

Pheu Thai, UDD to sue Suthep

BANGKOK, 24 May 2011 (NNT) – The United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship and the Pheu Thai Party will sue Democrat Party Secretary-General Suthep Thaugsuban for his groundless accusation against the party’s candidates.

Pheu Thai to file additional charges against Suthep

BANGKOK, 2 June 2011 (NNT) – The legal team of the Pheu Thai Party has prepared to lodge another petition to the Election Commission (EC) against Democrat Party Secretary-General Suthep Thaugsuban after he accused the party’s MP candidates of being terrorists.

According to Pheu Thai Party-listed MP candidate Natthawut Saikua, his party has expressed its clear standpoint to see a transparent election and hoped that it would help solve conflicts within the society, but Mr Suthep has been trying to make groundless accusations against others, notably Pheu Thai candidates.

Mr Suthep has often alleged that the Pheu Thai Party is a party of terrorists and arsonists.

Some core members of the United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) who have been accused of involvement in the burning of buildings around the country last May are currently Pheu Thai MP candidates.

Many places in Bangkok including a number of Bangkok Bank branches, the Center One Shopping Complex, and the Central World Shopping Mall were burnt by unidentified arsonists after the military crackdown on the UDD major protest, killing nearly 100 people last summer.

On 25 May 2011, the Pheu Thai Party handed the EC their first petition against Mr Suthep’s actions deemed to have violated Section 53 of the the constitution pertaining toelectoral law.

The Party's legal team has been assigned to collect further evidence on the Democrat heavyweight Suthep misconduct and submit it to the EC next week, said Nathawut.
