Hi i plan to visit Phuket, Kata/karon area (though i am not bound to that area!) for 8 days, could anyone please recommend a moderately priced place for someone like me on a budget (1200 to 1500 per night)? Cheers wap

At this time of then year you can find any guesthouse with aircon room for 600 baht/night or less if you are on a budget.

1200 to 1500 a night gets you nice hotel on the beach this time of the year.

350 baht gets you a hostel bed at Rick N Roll

You are directly across the street from Karon Beach and walking distance into Kata Center.

Check latestays. Will get you really nice hotel for 1000 baht.

Skylight 2 in karon, 100m from the beach has very nice rooms.
