With the change of broadcaster - it is harder to find a venue to watch the NRL in general, and now with the State of Origin in 2 days, any tips on decent lively venues that will have the broadcast showing - much appreciated in advance !

I know that the 69 bar in the boxing stadium area is a subscriber to all the NRL matches for this year.

I have emailed the owner and will post a definitave reply when he gets back to me,but I assume it should be on there.

I would imagine UN & The Olde Bell will show it as well. I intend to watch it somewhere as well, if it's on in 69 I'll go there. good place and the owner is a good bloke as well.

Thanks guys, I went to the Old Belle - I think - in Loi Kroh yesterday - they do not have any NRL showing now ! Pity, the UN has it - went there on the weekend - empty & flat, looking for some atmosphere if possible
