here goes i rang several thia emb in england could still not get my head round it, 19th may issue tourist visa exspires 19th november (6 months)<BR>enter thai 8th june= 60 days..out 6th aug.... in 7th aug=60 days...out 3rd oct...in 4th..=60 days...in 17th nov(45 days) before exspire date (19th nov.) takes me to middle of january. <BR>now that looks to me like 4 entrys,please correct me if im wrong(the full stay is more like 8 months.dont want to keep pestering them on the phone. iv only got 3 entry.<BR><BR>please help my head is wrecked.

Certainly looks like 4 entries to me too, so a 3 entry won't work.

All is not lost. Don't forget you can extend any of the 60 day entries by a further 30 days by visiting immigration (1900 Baht).

Just ensure that you make your last entry before 18th November to get your final 60 days.

8 June + 60 + 30 extension of stay = about 6 Sep

6 September + 60 = 4 Nov

4 November + 60 + 30 extension of stay = about 2 February

8 June + 60 + 30 extension of stay = about 6 Sep

6 September + 60 = 4 Nov

4 November + 60 + 30 extension of stay = about 2 February

will they allways give you 30 days exstension? is it like a interveiw to get the 30 days questions,proff of funds,or is it just how officer feels on the day?(extensions)

30 day extensions of a tourist visa is a routine matter. Just fill in the form and give a passport photo and 1,900 baht. No questions are asked.

-some- places want to see 20,000 Baht as well (just show it), never seen an extension refused.

Edit: Just to make it absolutely clear, you DON'T extend the second entry, only the first (and the third if you want to stay that long).

Extending the second one will bring you past the 'use before' date, so you can't use the last entry.

If you have money to throw away, you -CAN- extend the second one, but you have to make the last visa run before the 18th, giving you only 14 days extension effectively.
