Plane carrying 7 people crashes into residential area near New Delhi - TV

FARIDABAD, INDIA (BNO NEWS) -- An emergency medical plane carrying at least seven people crashed into a residential area near New Delhi on late Wednesday evening, local television reported.

NDTV and CNN-IBN reported that the accident happened at around 10.45 p.m. local time when the 9-seater aircraft went down in a residential area of Faridabad, a district in northern India near New Delhi.

NDTV said the aircraft crashed into a residential home, but it was not immediately clear if anyone was inside. Several bodies were recovered from the scene, but no survivors have yet been found, NDTV said.
