micky
My uncle will be applying for an extension of stay for one year.(Retirement Visa). His wife will be applying as a “dependent”. But their marriage certificate is not written in English. It’s written in Malay. Do they need to translate it to Thai or English. They are now in Bangkok. Where do they get it translated (if required). Both are over 60 years old and uncle has already deposited 800K in the bank. Your kind help is much appreciated. Thank you. lopburi3
Suspect it will have to be translated any translation agency will have ability to have it translated into Thai and/or English and most likely it will then have to be registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make it legal. She will also have to obtain a non immigrant visa entry. That can be obtained with copy of husbands passport with extension of stay and the marriage certificate.
