June 5, 201115 yr Next update to OS X is due soon. You could just wait a bit and go to the latest version. http://www.apple.com/macosx/lion/ BTW, why would you need a 'consultant' to do it? I thought Macs were easy?

June 6, 201115 yr Lion is supposed to be the first OS that will be offered in the App store application. So if you install the free App Store application then your good to go. Lion to be released via App Store App Store

June 8, 201115 yr Author Snow Leopard is a prerequisite for Lion, so might as well get it now. That's important, and I didn't know that. Thank you, Smiling Mantis, for posting about it here. My decision was to go with Snow Leopard now. MacZone shop called this morning; computer ready for pickup.
