90 Day Reporting

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if you can still do 90 day reporting by post.

Thanks.

Yes but don't forget to enclose a stamped addressed envelope and get and receipt for sending, and I always photocopy the previous notification acknowledgement before sending off.

Fill out TM47.

Enclose copy of passport with photo and number and passport page of last entry to Thailand.

Sign photocopies in a blue pen.

Have had some pretty good posts about this previously, perhaps a search would help you. Bottom line, it depends on the Immigration Office, some say yes you can, some say "why you no want to see me every 90 days?"

If you do this by post, the information I have found is as stated by the previous post PLUS you need to include the bottom tear-off of what they attached from your previous "47" form and be very careful to include sufficient return postage for them. I have debated this a lot, but I feel safer going to the Thai Immigration rather than relying on the Thai Postal. The Thai Immigration in Nakhon Rachasima has told me more than once that your 90 day report can be done at any Thai Immigration Office, so I would make the trip, no matter where I was.

Hope this helps.

thanks for the question and for me I do it by Post in Bkk every 90 days, except when I do the retirement visa once a year..

Good luck as always people have warned me about doing it that way, but as of now no problems, and hope for the best.
