fingers
Hi All, I am a UK citizen and am moving to LOS with my Thai girlfriend at the end of February. I've been to Thailand before but my entry was overland and my stay was months rather than probably years this time. I have a one-way ticket to Thailand booked but have recently read something about needing to show a return ticket. I have heard that the majority of foreigners living in Thailand get 90 day visas which they renew on a Visa run when they expire. What do I need to do to do this? Do I need to apply for a visa before I go? I'm sure this really isn't too difficult but I just keep getting conflicting advice which makes me somewhat nervous Any help greatly appreciated!! dr_Pat_Pong
You need a multiple entry Non-Immigrant O visa. Apply by mail at the Thai Consulate at Hull.
richard10365
I thought you had to be married to get a Non-Immagrit O visa.
lopburi3
A non immigrant O visa is "for other reasons" than the normal tourist or business/education and such. Visiting friends is a valid reason for a non immigrant O visa and in many countries they will even issue a multi entry type valid for one year on that basis. Marriage of course does make the visit easier to justify.
