Your slightly out on your calcs, but in principal it looks OK for a two entry visa and extending each one by 30 days for 1900 baht a time.

Dont forget to allow for different time lines and dates when travelling too.

Depending on what time you flight is you may loose a day.

Yes but some things can not be calculated or planned ahead of time.

1. If you arrive early in the morming...flights from Europe often do arive between midnight and let's say 1 A.M. ...you MAY be stamped in as arriving the day before. So if you arrive just after midnight on the 20th you MAY be stamped as entering on the 19th...because immigration still hasn't updated the computer date/time yet. Anyhow, there will be an arrival date stamped in your passport. THAT DATE is your arrival date. You have to start calculations from that date. It will almost always be within 1 day of your arrival...but just look at the date and check that it is correct on your arrival. If it is wrong, THEN is the time to report the mistake to immigration (before you leave the immigration area)...so they can correct it then.

2. You can't predict the exact exchange rate for the day when you arrive. So in your calculations take the exchange rate as likely to be slightly lower than you expect it to be. In other words, give your self a "fudge factor" so you won't be unhappily surprised.

3. You don't HAVE to go to Bali unless you want to. You can do a border run here in Thailand...that means you go to a land border, cross into another country (get a visa for that country if required), then turn around and come back to Thailand. On re-entry to Thailand you will activate your second entry on your multi-entry visa...and get another 60 days if you have a 2 or 3 entry tourist visa. But if you want to go to Bali, that's fine too. I just want to point out that you don't have to do that.

4. Since you will be here in December be sure to consider that the 5th of December is the King's birthday, a public holiday here in Thailand, and just about EVERYTHING will be closed. If the 5th of December happens to fall on a wekend...then the previous Friday and/or the following Monday may also be holidays. So be careful about that also.

Cheers IMA_FARANG we are wanting to go to bali anyway as its only £244 that most - £80 for broader run = £164 so its well worth it as the wife buys jewellery from there plus looking to leave Thailand around 9th or 14th December so i will have to be carefull of that.if i can get a visa stamp on the 18th still work in well as we will leave on the 9th dec or 14th dec anyway so that doesn't matter but you guy for the info.

CHEERS GUYS YOU' OT THE BEST
