I crossed over into Laos there with some Thai Rangers from the border camp. No idea if it is still there or not, but it is worth a hike up through the old airfield. Interesting Gary, don't know about an old airfield, but there is a small water fall on the border where I am told a chopper went down many years ago. It had all been forgotten about until a year or 2 ago. They cut a road [track] in and now there is a little Lao market there.
