I'm glad this thread has had a bump, I usually only check out Chiangmai forum as we spend a month or two there each year. 60's soul is still my favourite music and it's great that most of our old favourites are on YouTube, I'll put up a few of mine. Did you ever manage a get together at the Woodstock Pub or did you never quite make a quorum.

I was amazed when as well as old favourites like the Wheel and Wigan Casino, I saw Okeh soul club. I thought <deleted> I'm from Keighley (migrated to Australia in 1980) I was a soul man, why have I never heard of this place? A quick Google revealed that it is happening right now in 2011, in fact there seems to be a it of a Soul revival going on. Next time we do a family visit back to the old hometown, we might check it out.

I couldn't think of a better, or indeed any other reason to visit Keighley :whistling:
