Soldier dies in Jomtien road accident

PATTAYA: -- A member of the Thai Army was killed in a road accident in the early hours of Saturday in Jomtien. Police and Rescue Workers were called to Soi 5 off the Tepprasit Road just before 2am to deal with the single-vehicle accident which resulted in the death of Private Padoonsak aged 22.

As much as I feel sorry for his family and friends 'Single Vehicle Accidents 'don't just happen. They are caused by 2 or 3 things.

The first (and probably the most common at 2 in the morning) drunk driving.

The 2nd is more likely or not to be tiredness ( but that's probably more common on main roads not small Soi's), and the 3rd youthful exuberance
