Hi, I'm about to return to Thailand for several months and need my own treadmill, not shared use of one in a fitness centre

does anyone know of any companies that hire them out on short-term basis - or have you got one going cheap!

Have many parks in Thailand where you can jog run or walks fast,

or in my case can simply lie down rest and drink beer while i watch other people exercising and it dont cost you any money

Look in the classifieds here on Thaivisa. Sometimes you can get a good deal. I dont know of any company that rent them out. They are all quite expensive.

Suggest instead you get yourself a small stepper, which (before, anyway) you can pick up at Big C Extra or perhaps Lotus. Now most of them are "twister" as well, but on some you can disconnect the twisting.

Much cheaper, easily transportable, effective enough. Good for your butt too.

Of course you can make a stepper w/ a step stool from Home Depot etc.
