justsumhelp
Go to 7-11 and ask for a True international sim, normal rates for thai numbers but if you call international numbers its only 1-4 Baht a minute. You can also top it up just like any other pre-pay sim.
keeniau96
Cruise the basement of Big-C, all the phone operators (AIS, DTAC, etc) are there as well as the many booths flogging phones.
fritter1970
My Thai friends tell me if you are going to spend any time in rural locations then get a 1-2 call sim as it has the best coverage.... dunno if this is correct but may be worth considering if you are going to head bush at all... lomatopo
A One-2-Call Freedom SIM is 50 baht, it comes with 15 baht credit and a default calling plan. You can top up (add value) then change plans. You can purchase SIMs everywhere, anywhere here: convenience stores, mobile phone kiosks... Generally it helps if you share your requirements: location, duration, budget, voice, messaging, data etc. in order to get the best recommendation. http://www.ais.co.th/12call/en/sim-card.html http://www.ais.co.th/12call/en/sim-freedom1.html Truemove and DTAC/Happy have similar entry-level SIMs and calling plans.
