WebBangkok
I tried to get a drivers license and they said I need to bring proof of my address at the immigration office or embassy. Since I am going to the embassy today anyways, what do I need to get this? Do I just show up with my passport? Thanks
lopburi3
Be good to have some money to pay for it. They should have a letter that you fill out your address and sign. Be best to check your Embassy web site for any requirements needed to prove it.
Thanyaburi Mac
If you're an American, it'd be a whole lot cheaper (perhaps better said "less expensive") to do this at your local Immigration office, altho you'd have to figure in transportation cost. The U.S. Embassy charges $50 for a notarial!!! About baht 1,500+-. http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/schedule_fees.html Immigration offices seem to charge baht 100-500. Darrel
Probably even more expensive if you have the misfortune to be British.
