Hi,

having recently bought a second hand car, I would like to remove the tinted film on the windshield, and the side and back windows as well; they are too dark and make it difficult (and dangerous) to drive at night.

How do I do? can I do it myself and is it difficult?

Thanks for your help.

It's a lot work. Can be done depending on good it was installed in the first place how old it is. Did my self once but had all the tools needed. Film remover, spray bottle, supply of razor blades, vacuum to clean up , towels, list goes on. One window came off in minutes, another took an hour! Just go to a place that installs them. Let them do the hard work. Can't be that expensive.

Seconded, I've done it before back home and NEVER again! They have special chems they can use to loosen the adhesive and takes them a third the time, they also usually have more people doing it too..
