Bed Duvet Case

Featured Replies

I tried a number of shops searching for duvet cases.

(that's the outside "pocket" where the bed duvet is put into, sorry if the description is a bit awkward, I'm not a native english speaker)

I didn't find it at Tesco, Big C or Carrefour.

Found some at homepro, but very little choice (4 uni colors) and quite expensive!

(about 2500 baht for a king-sized one)

Any Ideas of where I can find more duvet cases, and maybe cheaper please?

I'd like to buy 2 or 3 more so I can change the linens.

Tesco up beside Makro had king size duvet covers instore the other day. You could also try the Outlet mall next door they have a department in the basement with bedding but I dont really know the price. Central Festival have them but might be pricey for you.

May be available at the hotel supply shop on Pattaya Tai...

Seems strange to me as I am pretty sure they all have duvet covers!

I saw many of them at Carrefour (now Big Cx) during last month promotions.

BTW why would someone need a bed duvet in Pattaya where temperature rarely goes under 24° at night?

Index and Central carry them as well. Prices are high, 2500 is

about average. If you are not in a hurry, drive buy the places

once a week and see if any of them have sales ...

Good Luck,

Thai's don't really seem to use them, they just ship the whole thing off to the cleaner and have it washed. It's only 100 baht or so.

Because it feels dam_n cold with the AC set to 20°, as for doona (duvet) covers, pretty sure mine came from index but would need to ask the better half to be certain.

Fly Now heading North up Sukhumvit was the best I found out of HomeWorks, HomePro, Index, Outlet Mall.

and never got the idea to set it at 24 or 25°?

25°C is still very comfortable to sleep

and you will economize on electricity... and on duvet cover ;)

I'm sleeping at 26°C with duvet, just like my thai friends ;-)

Nah, I like to snuggle up under a doona, always have always will, as for the electric, even running the one in my room 24/7 my bills are still a fraction of what they were back home so all is good.

There is (/was) a bedding place on Sukhumvit just outside Central Park III between Klang and Tai.

Didn't notice if they had duvet covers as it didn't have what I was looking for but it was the cheap Thai tat.

Carrefour Oops Extra big crap has them,at least from the studio one brand but they have them from some other brands from which I don't remember the brandname also. For the studio One brand they are 1100 Baht for the kingsize if I recall correctly and are made from microfiber ( bettter and softer than Egyptian cotton).
