License And Title Proceedures

Featured Replies

I've been to Immigration to get the Certificate of Residence Affidavit. Now the question?

If I use the Affidavit for the License, is the License, because it required the Resident Certificate/Affidavit, suitable and accepted at the Transportation Department for transferring vehicle registration into my name?

Hopefully I do not need two Affidavits from Immigration to get me legal.

Answers? Your Experience please!!!!

Thanks

Different Immigration and DLT, different rules

My experience is

If your certifcate is a printed doc with picture attached, you need one for each thing you want to do

In Phuket, Immigration has changed to use a form filled in with pen and stamped, and Phuket DLT accept copies

Thanks for the reply. Since mine is a printed doc with picture attached I guess Immigration will get more of my money. Sure would be nice if there was consistency between different jurisdictions, but TIT!!

thanks again....Anyone with Experience in Chiang Mai?
