I am looking for a reasonable priced, trustworthy and educated lawyer in Chiangmai, preferable specialising in family law and possible knowledge of bank house reposses(which I suppose would come hand in hand with a divorce case)

There are very many lawyers that must be avoided in Chiang Mai. All of them males, and some of the worst have the best spoken English.

If you want excellent service, tho a little on the slow side, I strongly recommend Khun Sumalee of 29 Thanin Law Company. This is the name of her practice, also her address in Santitam. One of the few 'polite' addresses in that part of the city.

She is only slow because she nurses a serious illness. Also, she must avoid stress, so does not appear in any litigation in court.

If you think you will need a fierce and excellent fighter in court, you need Khun Nittaya, whose office is on Changklan Road. Both have excellent English.
