gray42
I have a small size Shimano spinning reel that I need cleaned, greased, etc. Are there fishing stores on Samui that can do this, or should I have it cleaned in the United States before leaving for Samui? If there are places on Samui to have this done, about what is the cost?
robblok
I would advise in letting it be done in the US. I am not sure if parts need to be replaced but remember Thailand has a different kind of selection then USA. So parts might not be available. gray42
Thanks I decided to do what you recommended. I would still like recommendations on where to get my reels cleaned on Samui if you know of some places...

I really dont know if they have parts of reels that are not common in Thailand. I am pretty sure my shimano big baitrunner loncast could not be serviced there. While my shimano baitrunner 6500 could. Because they sold it in the past.
