A_Traveller
Hi, Please advise. Have an individual [a Doctor] who wishes to bring a couple of medical devices to Thailand for a seminar. One version is approved by the Thai FDA, the other not yet, it is in progress. Can he apply for a Carnet for the unapproved one? Presume with the approved one he has to work with the approval holder in Thailand to set up the Carnet for that one prior to arrival? Lead time for that? Thanks in advance. Sunbelt Asia
Carnet information can be found here: http://www.customs.go.th/Customs-Eng/ATACarnet/ATACarnet.jsp However, equipment that is not legally approved for use in Thailand cannot be used in Thailand and would not be allowed in.
