i need to start sending money into my kasikorn bank in thailand from here in uk. say 8-10 k a time maybe 5 times a year, i had a mishap before where i got money sent over to kasikorn whilst i was here in thailand but kasikorn never received the money and i badly needed it.

anyway to enable me to keep track of my swift transfer / TT what is the best way to do this ? just call kasikorn 4-5 days after money has left uk bank ? set up internet banking from uk ? or some other way.

When I set up my internet banking with Kasikorn I had to do it in person at the branch where I opened my account, this was a year or so ago.

Really? When I did it I had to sign some documents setting it up. But I also wanted the virtual credit card too so maybe that is the difference?

ok my wife is here in uk with me, so therefore sending anyone a card cannot happen, is there any other solution to this problem ? anyone got a number for kasikorn office who deal with swift / TT,s ? where i can check around a week after it is sent from uk . my wife obviously speaks isaan/thai but ask her anything about banking or whatever and she is out of her depth duh !!!

I am pretty certain you have to set it up in person. I tried to add new accounts and that had to be in person.

When I applied the desk clerk took me out to the ATM and showed me how to do it.
