I Bought A Garmin 1360

Featured Replies

I bought it and I have used it once as I went to Pattaya with my wife and daughter after scoring some free accommodation at a nice resort and on the way back.

First thoughts, Its very responsive and accurate and has not lagged at all like what my tomtom (2007 model) and my ifox navigation systems.

Its very simular to my tomtom that I had in Sydney and happy with it, having founf any flaws yet, but I have only used it twice.

Ok, I am usually very good with technology, but how the hell do you make it do a demo navigation to a destination? I have seen the lady do it at the store, but just cant work it out.

Anyone know?

You set the GPS Mode to "Off", that puts the unit into GPS Simulator. Touch [Tools > Settings > System > GPS Mode > GPS Off], that should do it. The car icon will be sitting at your last location, enter (find) a destination, touch "Go" and the unit will calculate a route.
