my mother(thai) is married to my father(non-thai), and my mother has considerable real estate holdings in thailand in her name.

As far as I know: yes, but if the foreign husband inherits it he will have to sell it to a Thai national.

The law on this has changed, before a Thai married to forreigner could not own land. The law has now changed. My wife is Thai and we have built a house, and land and house is in my wifes name.
