If I am tired and blind I am sorry, but I cannot find the topic here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/forum/158-world-news/

I read news here and missed the event for over 2h until I got onto Twitter on my way home from work just before midnight.

Could it be because the bomber wasn't Arab?

Naaah, it is not Israel or US related.. so it cannot be important...:whistling:

I think this has been moved to the wrong part of the forum.

:whistling:

Basically bcause it happened in the middle of the night Thai time and at this time is still a developing story. I just woke up and saw the news on the BBC world service. It is now 5 a.m. here in Bangkok. The story and it's causes are not yet clear.

Could it be because the bomber wasn't Arab?

According to the BBC the perp was Norwegian. Any evidence that the people who actually committed the crime are 'Islamic terrorists'?

They took credit for it and they have made many threats over many years. The police will have to figure out if they are telling the truth.

In January 2006, the Norwegian government apologized to Muslims worldwide after the publication of 12 cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad in the Norwegian newspaper Magazinet
