What Model Was It.?.

Featured Replies

It was a Red Plate Ford Car with a strange rear end. Had Red lights, low set behind the rear wheels and with what looked like Scotch Reflecting Tape half way round them. A very small rear window, bit like a Tank Drivers and lights set in the roof pillars, in the Dark n Rain they were blinding me,and couldnt make out what it was.Any Ideas.?.

Thats it,the Red Tape for sure. The one i saw must have had a spoiler accross the rear because the glass was oblong and looked all wrong. Well Spotted, were all Fiesta and Brio up here.I note Ford dont put discs all round very often, even on the Fester S. Mind you most Cars are overbraked, and rear drums are adequate,

agree on rear drums, actually most drivers apply to little braking power, making rear calipers stuck cause never used. same applies for auto cars not using hand brake, on rear discs calipers stuck due to not used

Same with ABS, We bought in a Sierra Cosworth years ago.It was a minter, no hard use, i used it,and the ABS opened up like a Mini Gun on a Blackhawk, scared the Daylights out of me in the Snow, then returned to normall..All these Aids need use, thats why im not a big fan of them on Normally Driven Family cars, they just Gum Up,or give problems.
