I am interested in bringing in some money for future investments in Thailand - be it in a business or maybe stocks/bonds.

I am planning to use a bank wire to my Thai bank account - and wonder whether it would make sense to ensure to get a TT3 (or whatever it is called now) for the wire in stating "investments" if possible? Will they issue that for any wire reason? (I.e. not just condo purchase)?

If later I want to re-patriate any profits I can imagine that the TT3 would be needed just as is the case with real estate profits?

Appreciate any comments.

Cheers!

As far as I know you can repatriate money just with the proof of forein remittance.

This is the same paper demanded by land and house at the moment for purchasing a condo.

Seems no TT3's are issued anymore.

Not 100% sure though, best to confirm with your bank!
