Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas or experience with any insurers who provide a good policy at a reasonable rate that would cover accidents and the medical costs that accompany them?

I realize that there are many insurers who, for a small fortune, will give you the same odds as a casino at about the same price, but what about practicality and actually paying for what is insured?

I got a policy at the Bank of Siam in the night bazaar. Strictly accident. Good for 5 years. They tell me they can not issue a policy after a person turns 70.

Accident insurance is usually included in an overall health-care plan. But there are some stand-alone policies offered by some of the banks like Kasikorn Bank. I checked into it at one time and found that it was much better value to buy a health-care plan that included the benefit.
