Ed Visa

Featured Replies

Hi

How many times can a single entry ED visa be extended and for for how long?

Thanks in anticipation

None unless you are in an authorized study program and thus meet extension of stay requirement and how long or how many times will depend on the school and your study.

Sorry I should have given you more information :-

I have booked 200 hours Thai language course and school have already obtained a 4 month extension of stay. When my 200 hours course is completed will I have to exit Thailand and obtain another ED visa or can my original Ed visa continue to be used for extension to stay so long as I book more lessons.

Is there a limit on the number of extensions?

Thanks

Believe up to 3 years is possible if the school course allows. They should be able to advise you on that.

Walen School offers up to 10 years on permanent renewal so you might like to speak to somewhere there if you are looking at the long term.
