Looking at my current passport I have about 2 full pages free, due to go to Immigration for extension in November, and get a re-entry permit at the same time. My passport runs out in 2016 so not that old.

Looking at the Exchange rates, am thinking now would be a good time to get it renewed, price of a Passport 32 pages in THB is 6342, which I consider to be cheap at the moment.

Total with postage and courier is gonna be under 7000baht, not bad really.

At present, we Brits in Thailand must send our applications off to HK.

The Hon Con of Chiang Mai has (informally) advised we folk to do it sooner ther than later. Seems there's an imminent plan to move ALL applications from HK to London.

And we can guess, can't we? The price won't go down!
