Global house has wellington windows in specific sizes at very good prices. I am installing 4 of them, but it will be a couple of weeks before I can try them out.

On middle ring road, near hang dong Big C (1/3 way on left side on way to canal road is a shop.

Canuckamuck .... from one Canuck to another ... any report back on those windows ? I also saw them up here in Korat and they look good for Thailand. Cannot find the manufacturer in Google .. only come up with a company in Minnesota and I doubt they would make single glazed windows and export all the way here.

Have used a mixture including the Global House UPVS (limited sizes) and they are OK as double glazed, just thoroughly check them first. GH are a bit of a problem installing as need to knock out a bigger hole and render in, but once in fine. The others where I wanted differnt sizes were made to order from Conch? (Ring 1 near San Kampang turnoff) who also did the install and were a bit cheaper than Windsor, noticed a substantial reduction in noise after installing. Also they can rearrange the frames for the screens outsude rather than inside if you prefer.

Just to report back on the Wellington windows. I bought the single glaze PVC windows in both the 1.5 meter and the 2 meter widths ( I think that's right). They worked out really well and I am quite happy with them. I think they were a really good deal. About half the price of some of the others up for offer. The 1.5 meter is just 1900 if I remember correctly.
