Has anyone used the learn-thai-podcasts, views on this course please, works?/value for money?/advice etc.

OK I’’ll confess to taking the advanced conversation section for 6 months, a year

or 2 ago. According to me, it was worth the $80 or so I spent.

What I did was copy the transcripts record the audio, and then edit out all the english and word by word stuff from the audio, leaving me with just phrases to practise. I only watched a

couple of videos because I thought they were a bit slow and too long and drawn out

for me. Not because I’m a smart advanced student, but because I’m old and don’t

have alot of time left. I would look at the videos once in a while to see what the

speakers in the real life conversations looked like. Such as the pregnant woman.

No wonder her husband was a drunk. (She said her husband was a nak deum.)

Anyhow, you can find plenty of samples on the internet from learnthaipodcast

to see if you might like it or not. I didn’t sign up again because of the abundance of free stuff there is on the net I can learn from.
