Anyone know of any special deals to this place in Japan or Hiroshima. I've been quoted 26K with JAL, anyone know any better deals??

Cheers

26K including Fukuoka flight by JAL? You are getting Fukuoka leg for free then.

Seems like a deal to me.

Train Tokyo-Fukuoka-Tokyo would be 45k Yen (410US$ = 16K baht), 5 hours ride, 1170km.

In September, a friend paid for Tokyo-Fukuoka-Tokyo 550 EU, in addition to Rome-Tokyo-Rome ticket.

I think it's a code-sharing flight with TG. As to Hiroshima, Bangkok Airways is the only carrier offering direct service between Bangkok and Hiroshima. Fukuoka airport to Hiroshima is about an hour and half to two hours bullet train ride with a change of train at Hakata station (about 5,000 yen one way).

I don't think TG has anything to do here. I have never heard JAL codesharing with TG. They do with American Airlines and joining soon the OneWorld Alliance).

The price probably included a flight to Osaka and than to Fukuoka and looks low to me. On a reputable carrier (which JAL is) I pay 26K baht just to get NRT-BKK-NRT at a "discounted" price.

It was posted in this section, BKK Airways is still to start flying to Hiroshima. November 3rd or something, can't remember.

JAL does codeshare the Fukuoka flight with TG, according to my JAL time table. American and TG are not the only carriers JAL codeshares with.

I stand corrected. It's a TG648, a direct flight BKK-Fukuoka, less than 5 hours.

JAL is just a reseller here. Maybe better going to TG directly.
