muchogra Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 My relative, an American citizen, married the wife who's a permanent resident of Thailand. For the past 3/4 years, they needed not to show the letter from a bank indicating 400k in the bank. Prior to this, they did have to. But it seems that I have not read any expats posting something like this, though I may have missed such. These were done at the Bangkok Immigration. Very strange!
