Do troll on internet forums. Don't make it so bloody obvious.

Im just asking the do and donts.

You haven't enough time to read it all. :).

Read what other people have asked about.

Don't follow any of the advice unless you are sure it will end in disaster; even then, you'll probably be disappointed.

Do bring a clean sock.

Beware of tall Thai's in high heels....

Dont invest more in Thailand than you are prepared to walk away from

Dont buy and wear a massive buddha medallions and display it everywhere you go...you just look silly, especially while wearing a Chang vest and a pair of flip flops

Feel free to view Thailand through rosey coloured spectacles....dont worry this illness soon passes..

Please feel free to be at one with your Thainess, and its ok to be more Thai than a Thai

Please get into the habit or correcting tourist (or at least people who have spent less time here than you) that they dont understand Thai culture/they must embrace it...

Buffalos do get sick and you need to pay for ventinary treatment

Not every farang who lives in Thailand is an "English teacher" or OAP

Yes we know your GF has only just started working in bar for less than a month, is not married or has a steady Thai boyfriend and she is a good girl.

Buying a house and car for the GF/wife in Isaan is a mandatory requirement.

Sin Sot is mandatory requirement and will always be THB 1.0million + 30 baht of gold...all none refundable of course

"Face" is a myth perpetuated so people do not have accountability for any of their actions...

You are right, for us loooooong readers think OP should please take a different approach that reads realistically and tugs at our heart strings and then you might get useful info, BUT if you know nothing about LOS then sit back and search and read. :)

Do make sure you buy bovril whenever you get the opportunity, because you can never be sure when you'll see it again.

Good advice, and of course your money eh. :)

Do enroll at a Thai language center (or hire a tutor) to learn as much Thai as you can. In the scheme of things, you'll pay peanuts for the ability to discover all the other dos and don'ts for yourself. Only linguistically-gifted adults can just pick up Thai, and I fully admire those who can and do - I really regret staying in Thailand for a few years before formally learning Thai. If I could have my time again I'd study intensively for six months. It takes a million times longer to correct poorly-learnt Thai instead of just learning it right the first time.

Sounds a bit heavy.Thank you anyway!

How come you've posted three times here and it still says 8?

Take the time to read his other 4 posts through his content, yeap still not 8 all together as I guess one got trashed already, and I have the strange feeling that his post count never will show 20.:)

Edit : Oh and by the way, reading through his opther posts will show that he isn't new to Thailand and simply a reincarnated troll member.

Don't eat yellow snow

I know the chances of finding snow in Thailand are slim, but you can never be too careful.

But there are a lot of flakes here and no two seem to be exactly alike.
