Rigger Posted October 28, 2005 Share Posted October 28, 2005 Have anyone had this trouble before Missus went to the bank today and was told by the bank that someone had tried to hack into our account via internet banking. The account has never been opened with internet banking and we dont keep large amounts of money in it I just use it to transfur a bit of extra money now and then via internet bank. The missus got worried and withdrawed all the money. And rang me I check my accounts and every thing seems OK Anyone had this before Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How could your account be accessed by internet if it is not set up for internet access? Why would the bank even say anything to you in that case? Perhaps it was via ATM or Phone access? A good time to change the PIN in that case. And to double check the slot you put card in before you do so; and never use unmarked atm machines which seem to have appeared recently.
