Things to do in Pattaya.....

I always like to stop in at the offices of Pattaya City News to thank them for the outstanding job they do in keeping me aware of the news about town.

Right, that's you banned, hmmm why doesn't the ban button work?

Patter is good for guys , methinks

i m not fancy with the beach there ... chaos, crowdy ..(i used to love it when i was young...and when i was 20's night life there was fun for me)

what i like in patter ..maybe ristorante (international) ..many choices

and also shopping there in some outlet malls ... come on we can buy nice g-string (brand name) just 68 Bht!! :o

actaully i just went there last Sunday .. (bloody traffic jam) .. just for lunch and shopping

The Sanctuary of Truth is IMHO a bit of a rip off. I dont think it is two tier pricing? not 100% sure, but it aint cheap at between 500 - 1300 Baht dependant on what you do (not a Lot!), a ten minute walk around would be fine, but when you pay as above you expect a bit more. The Dolpin show is crap, just a 3rd rate attraction to bring in tourists.

Release them ASAP :D:D

The "best" view is from the beach, just takes some getting too. :o:D

Rumour has it that a Pee appeared and told "owner" if he finished it - eternal damnation would be served upon him for eternity! or a good while anyway, guess they never said anything about ripping folks off! :D

Cheers

Tony, a few tips.

1) Get a tripod or don't take pics while the DTs are still making you quiver.

2) Try and get the subject of your photograph in the MIDDLE of the shot. It looks a lot better. Trust me.

3) Your mate can't audio blog to save his life. You can't photograph anything to save your life. You should go into competiton with PCN!!!!

Mr Fart, I used to be a professional photographer, as the camera I was using is a digital it auto focuses at the center of the picture, and as you well know being an expert yourself, it is the eyes of the beast you want in focus, yes I could have cropped the picture but what is the point of working on a 50kb picture? would you like a picture of my tripod mr farty? I havent used it in a long time though, but it cost 8,000baht about 20 years ago....

IF I have friends coming into town that wont to see something apart from the bars - they usually have women folk with em!

I take them to Nong Nooch, do the 2 oclock show, let them walk around, then drive home via the "temples" cut accross to the Big Budha by the Chinese temple, I'm bored shitless by this time, but they seem to enjoy

Cheers

I hear ya, been there, done that, ... still when it's too early to take up station on your favorite bar stool, Nong and other are nice diversions, :o

Brit I think you will find that I have started several thousand more topics than you, and that is including your worthless cut and pastes from the local rags so to speak, believe it or not there is a whole world out there with forums for every subject you could imagine.

Now most of them will visit monkey mountain, there they buy fruit and tease the monkeys with it, or use the fruit as projectiles while aiming at the monkeys, Last time I was there I saw a great big monkey attack this Thai guy that had been teasing him, I had a smile on my face allday :o

Maybe a day at the beach is your thing? well obviously Pattaya beach is a waste of time, so time to get in the old car and nip down to Bang Saray, Nice beach and not the thousands of vendors we get in Pattaya.

My personal preference in nice beaches is of course Ban Chang, this is nice and clean and quiet, It's about a 50km drive from Pattaya but is well worth it, They only have one restaurant there, well one big main one that everybody goes to and the food is pretty terrible.
