Lucky escape as surface water causes road crash in Laem Chabang

LAEM CHABANG: -- Surface water on the road was blamed for a road accident which occurred on the Sukhumvit Road in Laem Chabang on Tuesday Morning. Amazingly, despite the wreckage, the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash, Khun Pongsatorn aged 30, was unhurt. He explained that he was on his way to work and failed to see the surface water which caused his pick-up to swerve off the road and mount the curb and smash into a concrete post in the central reservation. A collection of Buddhist Amulets inside the pick-up were recovered and Khun Pongsatorn believes Buddha was protecting him from serious injury
