October 29, 200520 yr All, The good news: a Thai friend surprisingly has all of her teeth. The bad news: she may need to have her wisdom teeth removed. Any recommendations for or against any D.D.S.'s / Oral Surgeons in Pattaya? (Or barbers?) D.D.S. is Doctor of Dental Surgery, maybe also called a D.M.D. Might this degree go by another name is Thailand? Google isn't turning up a whole lot. If there aren't any good ones in Pattaya, a trip to Bangkok might be possible. Thanks!

October 30, 200520 yr In the small clinics it's a 'one size fits all' situation, whereas in B.P.H. each of the dentists specializes, e.g. one lady does all the root canal work and then you are passed on to a male colleague who does all the Orthodonic work. Gives you confidence. Many of the smaller clinics will refer you here when more complicated work is required. And yes, they are all D.D.S., many with overseas degrees. I think about a dozen doctors work in the clinic. .
