Flax Seed

The 5 science teachers in my office have never seen or heard of it. Not too shocking though.Anyone know where to buy it in Chiang Mai?

both health food stores have whole flax seeds.

Ban Suan Pak store about 1 km from the US Consulate

and

Aden health food store next door to Warm Up Club on Nimmanhemin

Probably some other places like Kasem stores

I think its about 100 baht for 200 grams

Could it be that flaxseeds are grown with pesticides?

If so, then the extra price at the ban suan pak health store is well worth it.

Guess its possible, but I think this is in-line with the major baker's stores(around 100-110B for 1/2K). think the Suan Pak health store is a bit over priced....

Then again, there are different variations of the Flax seed, and different usages. Brown or golden, some are marketed as Linseed, etc etc.

don't attach to much to my price quantity for BSP store.

Thats my recollection but I might be off quite a bit on the quantity... I would check it out because she does take more effort to procure quality grades.
