Where was Robert A. when Pheu Thai was in the opposition and filed dozens of frivolous cases rather than possibly valid ones?

"Abhisit and the Dems have been busy filing obscure legal complaints against the new Foreign Minister, and generally seeking to play the role of the disruptor."

I suspect he was being kept busy, thinking-up obscure or frivolous grounds, to disrupt the working of the legal sitting coalition-government, now he as a lawyer is criticising others for making legal complaints. Funny old view of the world, he must have, eh ? B)

Does anyone know of any politician being successfully "Impeached"?

CA Governor Gray Davis

....... and any Thai ones?

Gray Davis was recalled through an election by the people(impeachment is, I believe by your peers or a branch of government-federal or state senates/congress) of california-we got arnold-he did a much better job(sarcastic). Nixon would have been impeached but he quit. I believe Blagovavich was impeached -he was the guy from chicago who was selling obamas senate seat. The Illinois senate voted to remove him-impeached. Clinton was impeached(for lying about a BJ) by the congress, but not by the Senate, so no impeachment. Not sure why(actually that would be to depressing to think about-I know why on this happy Friday) Bush/Cheney were never impeached-or brought to the Hague-no logic in politics just lots of money.

Democrats acting democratically again??

They haven't been properly elected into office in over 10 years. I guess if the only way in is a non democratic way then so be it. It's sad really that the democrats are trying to act like playground bullies to get their own way. The people have spoken and elected who they want. Let the people decide at the next election and stop causing trouble.

Absolutely correct. Spot on analysis. The democrats are a bunch of super rich crybabies, who take orders from the generals, without ever questioning anything. They are the embodiment of the status quo, and are there to protect the interests of the super rich. When was the last time a democratic govt. did anything for the Thai people? See how they are carrying on about the decision of the reds to eliminate the excise tax on gasoline. What, do something positive for the masses? See the reaction a move like that gets? It takes money out of the pockets of our power brokers. Why would we do something like that? The demos are a super corrupt, order following party, being led around by the nose, by five generals, and the six most wealthy families in the country. They have never done anything that benefits the common man. It is against their credo.

"And are there to protect the interests of the super rich" ... you're talking about Yingluck, PTP and their billionaire puppetmaster?

Come on, open the other eye. Different flavours of the same thing.

Nope. Absolutely not. I am talking about the military, and the top families in Thailand. Abhisit was there to do nothing more than to allow them to continue their grasp of the levers of power. That is the extent of it.

No, please open your eyes. It is not different flavors of the same thing. It is very, very different. Though Thaksin was super corrupt, he spent his entire time in office fighting the powers that be. That is a very different thing. He was very opposed to the super corrupt, fat, lazy, power hungry, blood sucking generals. Anyone who fights these pigs, is doing Thai society a credit. So what if he was corrupt. Do you think anyone in that office, anywhere in the world is not? Who is walking around without eyes wide open?

How can you argue against "logic" like that?

Anyone fighting the "super corrupt" (like Thaksin) is doing Thai society credit.

You miss my point, yet again. They are all corrupt. Is Thaksin more corrupt than Abhisit? Is Thaksin more corrupt than the military? They are all taking it from all angles. Somehow you equate the democrats with honesty. Where does that come from? Do you have any proof of an honest deed they did, while in office?

"Is Thaksin more corrupt than Abhisit? " Yes. Do you have any proof of a dishonest deed, at any time?

If they are all corrupt, why fight to bring back one that used his position as PM for so much personal gain? Why not just fight to stop corruption?
