Hi all, i heard recently that the bars at the top of Soi 2 have all closed ready to make room for a new hotel. Is this true as it was a local drinking hole of mine as i used to stay at Sabai lodge. I had many friends who worked there and used to listen to the brill band in Toybar. Will miss them if it is true. Any info would be welcome, thanks.

I haven't driven ny there in few days but that would great news if that eyesore is but a memory.

The U-too bar area at the top of sois 4/5 has also thankfully been torn down.

Toy Bar and Pacific Bar are still there. A few others also - but all the inside bars are gone.

No great loss.

Still 3000 odd beer bars left in Pattaya.

Still about 2000 too many.
