Broadband In Bkk - Not Behind Invisible Proxy?

Featured Replies

I will be needing to get a broadband connection soon, at the moment I am using a friends TrueDSL service and it sucks as I am constantly fiddling with websites and the true Proxy is annoying as hel_l when checking the changes I have made are OK.

Does anyone know which of the providers do not use a proxy, all i need is a 256kb connection - as long as it isnt crippled in some other manner.

Thanks.

Hello Conan,

You can try TrueADSL Hi-speed on demand, just change your login name from XXXX@truehisp to XXXX@true2m.

It cost 25 Baht per hour.....

Is this a government filtering proxy of some sort? I knew that they were monitoring International faxes -- try sending a fax with "objectionable" content and it'll get cut off every time -- but I wasn't aware that they were censoring the Internet.
