20,000 Baht Prize For Drinking Beer

Featured Replies

any update on the contest? how many teams, who won?

Yep a good night was had by all.

three teams of 3 entered,

team 1 was the high landers and they had a good effort and tuffed it out in the ice for a good time, however they never quite got enough beer down

team 2 Sambora, again they stuck it out in the ice well and drank almost all the 21 bottles of leo, but not quite,

team 3 premier, all 3 team members seemed phsyched up for this one, new member Jamie had been chomping at the bit to get in there and never let

the team down with a good time and plenty of beer downed, next in was Marcus on his second extreme drinking mission, again he was on the ball and when team premier brought on the big gun Nigel

there was not much of the beer left so once again the reigning champions downed the beer and lifted the cup along with the 20,000 baht.

after the main event we had a very pretty young lady get into the ice, I need to add not for very long.

21 bottles...between 3 people..... i thought you said it was extreme!!!!!!

I hope they were large bottles at least.

Sorry just dont get it, how this can be positive marketing for a bar.

.

I had the misfortune to have to drive through Bangrak at about 1230 last night and the Premier Bar probably had more people (paying customers) in it than the rest of the bars put together. So positive marketing or not it seemed to have worked!

I guess if they took over 40.000 they would have broke even, only 9 people taking part not really a runaway success.

OK just to clarify things, the Premier Sports Bar do a lot to return our appreciation to our custom base, we do many things as a thank you to our customers.

We are a business and if we do not generate a profit then we will not be here to renew our lease, however not every party night or event night is aimed at

being a profit night, for example for our anniversary night we laid on a group for live music and also a very good buffet including a spitroast pig. This is a thank you to our customers

for their continued support and nothing to do with generating a big payday.

The drink dive extreme contest was in association with Sambora Bar Restaurant (Fishermans Village) and the cup and prize were supplied by Leo beer. You can't make everyone happy all the time and as individuals

we all like a different aspect from a bar, as the owner of Premier Bar on my night off I enjoy getting out n about and doing somthing different.

As a business we appreciate feedback, so if anyone has a serious idea to help us help you then please send a personal message.

Without you there is no us.

Should anyone wish to have an extreme drink comp please feel free to contact Sambora Bar at the enterance to Fishermans village.

I'd just like to say I reckon Premier bar are doing a cracking job....although sadly I was otherwise engaged on Friday night....

I've seen the pics though! whistling.gif
