I tried to find the golf rules in Thai but can't find them now:

Try saying it long hand; 'The person who has the right to hit first.' which in Thai is คนที่ได้รับสิทธิ์ตีก่อน = kon tee die rap sit dtee gorn.

If the Thai native speaker has a better way of saying it they will tell you.

How about 'Chuern Krap'...

You are probably right.. That is what I would say, I thought an explanation was required.

That just is politely inviting the player to go first.

I want to know the words to use to get the concept of the ettiquette of golf across ie you got the least score at the last hole so it's your honour.

You are the one having the right to hit first because you have the least score on the last hole. คุณเป็นคนได้สิทธ์ตีก่อนเพระมีคะแนนน่อยสุตจากหลุมทีแล้ว (จากหลุมก่อนหน้า ที่หลุมละสุต) = koon pen con die sit dtee gorn pro' me kanaen noy sut jack loom tee leaw.( jack loom gorn na, tee lum la sut ) Not sure about the last bit. Try all; hope it works.

Hmmmm - well once you have articulated all that you would probably find your playing Partners on their 2nd Stroke on the next hole - sorry just teasing ...... really!

Depending on the level of familiarity / seniority between you and your playing Partners you could use any of the following words for – basically – “you” ....

คุณ ; เธอ ; ท่าน ; นาย ; พี่ ; น้อง

Khun : Theur ; Tan ; Nai ; Pee ; Nong

So, prefacing your choice of word for “you” the basic sentence would be :

“You” have the right to go first

In Thai –

“You” มีสิทธิ์ไปก่อน - (you) mee sitthi bpai gorn

One could also say

“You” มีสิทธิ์ตีไปก่อน - (you) mee sitthi dtee gorn

Which is basically as above but you are saying

“You” have the right to hit first

It seems that its your turn to misread the question, the word offered inviting someone to go first was เชิญ.; even less verbose and less chance of them leaving you on the tee.

Incidentally ไป doesn't seem like the right word at all, it is opposite to มา=come, it means 'to move away from this place' but not the 'go first' of English.

What you do in golf is to hit a ball so the verb is 'hit'; one ball, one hit, in ตีไป= ตีเรือย ๆ or ตีไม่หยุด ; ไป makes the action of the verb continuous.
