Ugh...that's going to be a LOOOOOONG flight. Let's move this over to the Travel Forum.

My 1 Baht worth is to use several search engines as well as working with airlines websites directly. You might try JAL, I know there's a huge expat community in Brazil. Perhaps one of the Chinese airlines also???? Otherwise, get the cheapest flight you can to LAX and get another flight from there????

Topic Moved.

Is it still the case that Thai people don't need a visa for Brazil?

I saw a list once and seem to recall that Brazil was pretty much the only place outside Asia that Thais could fly to without visas.

It is still true, they do not require a visa-even at Immigration there is no fuss but a mate of mine had an issue with the airline not understanding there was no visa required. Just mention to the check in staff check "timatic" it will show them no visa is needed.

If your looking for a decent hotel in Sao Paulo, check out my favourite hotel http://www.wallstreet.com.br/ . It is only a block from Paulista Blvd. For me the top things in Brasil are Foz do Iguassa, Rio, and the famous BBQ. GOL or TAM both offer great rates flying domestically.

Brasil is amazing, I love the place.
