Thai Drivers

Featured Replies

After spending many years living in Thailand , mainly Bangkok, I have always found the majority of Thai people to be very friendly, curteouis ,polite , patient, in general very well mannered people, but put the same people behind and steering wheel and they are rude, inpatient, careless, impolite, arrogate, with no consideration to other drivers .

Why is this? Some people say lack of education, but I find the bigger the car the more rude and arrogate they are.

Maybe it's a lack of social skills? Before all the farang haters have a go, I have a Thai driving license, pay taxes, etc

But still love it here

think you posted in the wrong Forum unless they drive their cars underwater
